Easy Tofu Recipes Vegan

Tofu is a soya cheese. It is just like paneer but a healthier version. This recipe is very quick and easy to make. This can be made easily as an additional dish when guests have arrived without notice.

Ingredients required to make Tofu Stir fry

  • Cooking oil – 1 tbsp
  • Green chillies – 2
  • Garlic – 8 pods
  • Onion – 1 big
  • Bell peppers – fistful of all colors (red, green and yellow)
  • Tofu – 200 gms
  • Soya Sauce – 1.5 tbsp
  • White vinegar – 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Process to make Tofu Stir Fry

  • In a pan, heat oil first
  • Once it is heated, add green chillies. I have cut chillies into bigger pieces. You can chopped it finely too
  • Add fine chopped garlic. Cook till raw smell of garlic vanish
  • Add onion. I always give onion four cuts and then open its layers with hands. It gives very good look to the veggie
  • Saute onion for a bit and then add bell peppers of all the colors
  • Add tofu (soya paneer)
  • Mix it up and add soya sauce
  • Mix again well. each piece of tofu should get coated with sauce
  • At the end add white vinegar
  • Add salt as per your taste and cook for another 2 minutes
