How to make Shahi paneer

Shahi paneer is an authentic Indian main course. This dish is known for its creamy texture and little sweet touch.

An  Indian paneer recipe which makes your dinner delectable. It goes well with indian flat breads like Rumali roti, naan, garlic naan and lachha paratha etc.

Cook time : 20 minutes

Total time : 35 minutes

Ingredients required to make Shahi Paneer

  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Onions – 2 medium sized
  • Tomatoes – 3 medium sized
  • Garam Masala – 1 tbsp
  • Red Chilli Powder – 1 tbsp
  • Cashew nuts – 7-8
  • Water – 250 ml
  • Butter – 20 gms
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Cinnamon Stick – 1
  • Bay Leaf – 1
  • Green cardamom – 2
  • Cloves – 3
  • Chopped Garlic – 5-6
  • Grated Ginger – 1.5 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Honey – 1 tbsp
  • Paneer – 250 gms (Cottage Cheese)

To garnish

  • Dry fenugreek leaves – 2 tbsp
  • Fresh Cream – 1 tbsp
