How to make Schezwan Sauce at home

When ever you think of spicy twist to your rice or noodles the first thing strikes mind is schezwan Sauce or szechuan sauce. Its an easy cooking recipe. In my home we generally cooked evrything with the spice level on lower side as my daughter is only 3 years old and she we dont want her to be adamant to eat. So i always keep schezwan sauce in my refrigerator to spice up the life 😉

This sauce is homemade so there are no chances that it will upset your gullet. Furthermore the feel of being homemade itself boost confidence to eat it more.

Ingredients required to make Schezwan Sauce

  • Dry red Chillies – 100 gms
  • Chopped garlic – 2 tbsp
  • Chopped ginger – 1 tbsp
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp
  • White Vinegar – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Soya Sauce – ½ tbsp
  • Oil
  • Water
