Sabudana (tapioca sago) is a food allowed during fasting. It can be made as a sweet or a savoury. I always make this delicious Sabudana Khichdi during navratri fasts.  It is a healthy breakfast option too. Sabudana is considered to be a healthy food for infants. It is very soft to chew. Step by step video is given below

Ingredients required to make Sabudana Khichdi are

  • Cooking oil – 2 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Green Chilli – 1
  • Boiled potato – 1 medium
  • Grated Ginger – 1 tbsp
  • Sabudana (soaked and drained) – 250 gms
  • Rock salt as per taste
  • Roasted cumin powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Peanuts – 3 tbsp (handful)
  • Fresh Coriander – 2 tbsp
