Kasol

A small village which comes under Kullu district. Most famous for its Israeli Cuisine, night life and handicraft. While roaming on the streets the clatter of river adds beautiful beats to your experience. Roadside handicraft market gives you lots of memorable articles to buy. Location

It is located on the Bhuntar – Manikaran Road. Bhuntar is the point of nearest Airport and Manikaran is famous for its sikh gurudwara (temple) and hot water springs.Its situated at 33 kms from Bhuntar. Distance from Chandigarh is 295 kms. Whole village runs on banks of Parvati River. You will be enthralled by the beauty of flowing water, snow capped mountains and local food. Road is single and  not in a good condition at few stretches.

  1. Momos of Shambhu Momos Corner – it is located at the middle of the town on the corner of the bridge. You can enjoy veg – nonveg dimsums along with a unique preparation of groundnuts and walnuts sauce.
  2. Little Italy Restaurant : Ambience is good as it is on first floor with open windows. Food quality is very good. Their falafel platter is delectable. It includes falafel with pita bread, hummus, salad and french fries
  3. Budha Place – Food preparation is as good as their interiors. The free hand wall paintings of dragon, posters of bob marley and back view of river just make your dine in experience more pleasing.
  4. Jim Morrison Cafe – Best for the vegetarians to visit as they do not serve non vegetarian food. You need to trekk to reach this place so location is amazing with better music
  5. Moon dance cafe – Good location as situated in the middle of the market with prepossessing interior, inviting bakery and of course appreciable food

Night life and rave party in kasol

This location is famous for its rave parties like Electric Mahadeva. With large number of israeli tourists visiting kasol every years now this village has a night life like a metro city with most of the shops in the market open and people roaming here and there.

  1. River side camping – various types of camping packages are available for tourists who want to enjoy camps. Majorly camps are set up on the banks of Parvati River.
  2. Trekking – there are many destinations to enjoy nature even more closely by doing trekking on Sar pass, Yanker pass and the most famour Khirganga trek.

  4. Visit Manikaran Gurudwara – This sikh temple is situated at only 4 kms from kasol. Its famous for its natural hot water springs.
  5. Visiting Tosh – Tosh is the last village in Parvati valley and one has to cross a wooden bridge to reach this place. It is mainly a hub of tourists from israel and Italy.
