Paneer Jalfrezi

Paneer(Cottage cheese) is loved by almost everyone. I always try to make different dishes out of cheese. This one is my personal favorite as it is very tangy in taste. This paneer jalfrezi goes best with Indian flat breads like Roti, parathas and naans etc.

Earlier I have posted recipes of  Shahi Paneer and Palak Paneer. But you are going to love this tangy fusion.

Ingredients required to make Paneer Jalfrezi

  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Cumin Seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Dry Red Chillies – 2
  • Onion – 1 (sliced)
  • Tomatoes – 1 big (sliced)
  • Tomatoes blended – 2
  • Green Capsicum – 1 (Julienne)
  • Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Green Chilli – 1 (chopped)

  • Ginger – 2 inch (julienne)
  • Tomato Sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • White Vinegar – 1 tbsp
  • Fresh coriander to garnish
