Buckwheat flour Radish Chilla
In navratri regular grains cannot be consumed. I have made today the chilla with buckwheat flour and radish as main ingredients. Step by step pictorial presentation is given below for your reference purpose. List of ingredients are as mentioned below
Ingredients for Chilla
- Buckwheat flour
- Grated radish
- Rock Salt (Sendha namak)
- Red chilli powder
To make chilla please go through the below steps
First, take the buckwheat flour in a bowl and add grated radish to it. As we are making these as navratri special so i am using here rock salt (sendha namak) as per taste
After that add red chilli powder. You can also add fine chopped green chillies too.
Add water to make batter. mix everything well. Batter consistency should be that of a dosa batter. we will be pouring it and spreading it in a heated non stick pan like a dosa only.
Heat a pan. pour one spoon of ghee/oil and brush it properly over the whole pan base. Spread the batter like a dosa batter and allow it to cook for few minutes. Once cooked just flip it over to the other side and cook it evenly from both the sides.
Your Chilla is ready to serve. You can eat it with potato curry, paneer and curd.
