Stuffed Paratha – Matar Paratha

Yummy Matar paratha!! Last day of the year so thought of making lovely breakfast. Made these matar paratha. These are not just easy but also a different addition to your regular list of parathas. Do give it a try friends 🙂

In India, Winters are the best time to have Fresh Green peas from the market. If fresh are not available, use frozen ones. My first choice are always fresh ones.  These matar paratha goes really well with mixed pickle or mango pickle. You can also have a dollop of butter or a bowl of plain curd.

Ingredients required to make Matar Paratha

  • Green Peas – 250 gms
  • Grated Ginger – 1.5 tbsp
  • Chopped Coriander – 1 tbsp
  • Dry Coriander seeds – 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Carom Seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Garam Masala – 1/2 tbsp
  • Wheat flour dough
  • Ghee / Butter
