How to make Masala Papad

After heavy loaded weekends, on Monday i wanted always want to eat light but yes spicy and tangy. So today i made one of the most easy starter recipes with readily available ingredients. Yummy dish is equal to happy tummy 🙂

Generally whenever we dine out masala papad happens to be the starter till the main course arrive. The one we get at eating joints is always a deep fried one. In this recipe i have tried to make a healthy version of masala papad by using only half a tablespoon of oil. Papad is roasted on a tawa instead of deep frying in a wok. Ingredients required to make Masala Papad

  • Urad Dal Papad (available in all stores)
  • Chopped onion – 1
  • Chopped tomato without pulp – 1
  • Squeezed lime juice – 1 tbsp
  • Roasted cumin seeds powder – ½ tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder – ½ tbsp
  • Sev bhujia to garnish
  • Raw peanuts to garnish
