Easy Hummus Recipe

Hummus sauce or hummus dip can be used as a sandwich spread or as an accompaniment to salads. I came across the taste of this dish while I was travelling to Kasol in Himachal Pradesh. This place is famous for Israeli cuisine. So out of my curiosity to try something new I went to an Italian restaurant there and tried this hummus. I really liked it taste that i requested them to make me talk to their chef. The Chef came and answered my queries about the recipe and the ingredients used.

I tried making this at home and Yes it was a success. So sharing with you all the love of Israeli cuisine

Ingredients

  • Boiled chickpeas – 1 bowl
  • Tahini Sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper – 1 tbsp
  • Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
  • Olive Oil – 3-4 tbsp
  • Lemon Juice – 2 tbsp

To Garnish

  • Olive Oil
  • Red chilli powder / Red paprika
